Micro-finance firm sealed

VIJAYAWADA: The Mylavaram police on Thursday sealed the local branch of Micro-finance Company following a complaint lodged by a women's self-help group.

The police also seized the records of the Mylavaram branch of Hyderabad-based Share Micro Finance Limited. In their complaint, the women alleged that the organisation was charging exorbitant interest on loans given to them They told the police that they had taken loans to the tune of Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 20,000.
