HIV awareness programme on FM Rainbow

HYDERABAD : The HIV awareness campaign in the twin cities is all set to soar through the air waves from Friday.

The Andhra Pradesh State AIDS Control Society, as part of its Information, Education and Communication activities, is launching `Ashala Harivillu', an HIV awareness radio show that will be aired by Twin Cities FM Rainbow on All India Radio, from Friday.

The programme, which will have the time slot of 9.45 a.m. to 10 a.m. every day, will be an interactive event and will be based on the concept of infotainment, APSACS deputy director K. Padmavathy said. `Ashalu Harivillu' will target mostly those in the age group of 15-24 years.
