Letters to the Editor
I salute the people of Varanasi for showing the right spirit in the face of the recent tragedy. They have shown to the people of India and the world that the dastardly acts of a few terrorists have nothing to with any religion or community and that such crimes cannot shake their faith in the brotherhood of man. They have also rejected all efforts to politicise the situation by maintaining complete communal harmony.
M. Iqtedar Husain Farooqi,
It is good to hear that life has fast returned to normal in Varanasi. Also, people from all walks of life, and cutting across religious affiliations, condemning the attack is a healthy sign.
K.P. Ashok Kumar,
Let us face the fact that the Government has not shown substantial will to wipe out every possible link to jihadi militancy in our country. The example of America, post-9/11, can be emulated.
K. Kapali,
It is disturbing that places of worship and innocent devotees are being increasingly targeted by terrorists. The Government should leave no stone unturned in its efforts to nab the culprits.
Dr. K.M. Abdul Hasan,
