Horticultural training programme

CHENNAI: With a view to create an awareness of cut flowers and their potential among the people, the Urban Horticulture Development Centre, Chennai, under the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, is organising a one-day training on the "export and production of cut flower" on March 16, Thursday, from 9.30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The programme is open to commercial entrepreneurs and those interested in starting cut flower cultivation and export.

The registration fee is Rs.300. Certificates, course materials, pad, pen and lunch will be provided. For details, contact the Professor and Head, Urban Horticulture Development Centre, through phone at 044 - 26443551 or through e-mail at chennai@tnau.ac.in, a release said.
