Easy victory for HAL

BANGALORE: Prabhakar (105 not out) and Mahesh Kumar (104 not out) slammed centuries to power HAL to an eight-wicket victory over ITI in a KSCA Group II, second division league match here recently. Chasing ITI's 225, HAL cruised home in 38 overs.

The scores: ITI 225 in 47.3 overs (B.S. Sunil 40, Sathyan 54) lost to HAL 228 for two in 38 overs (Prabhakar 105 not out, Mahesh Kumar 104 not out).

BEML 340 for seven in 50 overs (M.K. Srinivas 132, Raghotham 64, Vivek Bekal 47, Ramesh four for 62) bt KSFC CC 203 in 44.5 overs (Prasad 55, J. Nagaraja four for 15).

KEB 200 in 42.3 overs (Manjunath 63, Daniel seven for 76) bt GTRE SC 159 in 37.1 overs (Manjunath seven for 50).

BEML Rail Coach 135 in 46.4 overs (Alexander 42, Gopal four for 33) lost to BEML KGF 136 for three in 26.1 overs (Gopal 65 not out, Mirji 44).

ITC SC 336 for eight in 50 overs (Sunil 70, Sundaram 54, Senthil Kumar 53 not out, Sathyan 52, Enian four for 121) bt CIL SC 148 in 26 overs (Venkatesh 43, Sunil four for 35).

BMP 146 in 42.5 overs (Naveen Kumar 51, M. Prasad four for 40) lost to SWRI 147 for seven in 37 overs (Philip 44 not out).
