DEHRA DUN: The Yoga guru, Swami Ramdev, plans a massive campaign to promote cultivation of medicinal plants by the masses and motivate the farmers to take to Yoga and Ayurveda to solve their medical problems and stay fit. Addressing newspersons here, Swami Ramdev said that India had been blessed with the ultimate in physical fitness through Yoga and Ayurveda and a wide variety of valuable plants. The people did practice Yoga and Ayurveda till a few decades ago. These household remedies however vanished as the people got influenced by forces that manufactured and promoted chemical medicines full of side affects.
