Summer specials to meet rush of passengers

CHENNAI: Southern Railway will run the following specials to meet the demands of passengers during the summer season.

Train no. 0635 Chennai Central-Thiruvananthapuram (daily) super fast special will leave Central at 5 p.m. and reach Thiruvananthapuram at 7.30 a.m. the next day. Train no 0636 will leave Thiruvananthapuram at 5.30 p.m. and arrive here at 10 a.m. the next day. The services will be available from April 1 to June 10 from Chennai Central and from April 2 to June 11 from Thiruvananthapuram.

Train no. 0601 Chennai Central-Mangalore (weekly) super fast specials will leave Central at 4 p.m. on Fridays and reach Mangalore at 8 a.m. the next day. Train no. 0602 will leave Mangalore at 4 p.m. on Sundays and reach Central at 8 a.m. the next day.

The services will be available from April 7 to June 9 from Chennai Central and from April 9 to June 11 from Mangalore.

Train no. 0605 Chennai Egmore-Nagercoil (bi-weekly) special will leave Egmore at 8 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays and reach Nagercoil at 10 a.m. the next day. Train no. 0606 will leave Nagercoil at 1.30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays and arrive here at 4.30 a.m. the next day.

The services will be available from April 3 to June 29 from Egmore and from April 4 to June 30 from Nagercoil.

Train no. 0603 will leave Egmore at 8 p.m. on Tuesdays and reach Thoothukudi at 8 a.m. the next day. Train no. 0604 will leave Thoothukudi at 8.30 p.m. on Wednesdays and reach Egmore at 9.15 a.m. the next day.

The services will be available from April 4 to June 27 from Egmore and from April 5 to June 28 from Thoothukudi.

Train no. 0613 Chennai Egmore-Madurai (bi-weekly) special will leave Egmore at 11 p.m. on Fridays and Sundays and reach Madurai at 8.45 a.m. the next day. Train no 0614 will leave Madurai at 6.30 p.m. on Thursdays and Saturdays and arrive here at 4.30 a.m. the next day. The services will be available from April 1 to June 24 from Madurai and from April 2 to June 25 from Egmore.

Train no. 0657 Chennai Central-Dardar (weekly) special will leave Central at 11.30 p.m. on Saturdays and reach Dadar at 3.45 a.m. on Mondays. Train no. 0658 will leave Dadar at 1.30 p.m. on Mondays and arrive here at 6.15 p.m. the next day.

The services will be available between April 1 and June 24 from Central and from April 3 to June 26 from Dadar.

Train no. 0639 Chennai Central-Ajmer (weekly) special will leave at 3.30 p.m. on Thursdays and reach Ajmer at 12.10 p.m. on Saturday. Train no. 0640 will leave Ajmer at 9.10 p.m. on Saturdays and arrive here at 5.15 p.m. on Mondays.

The services will be available from April 27 to June 22 from Central and from April 29 to June 24 from Ajmer.

Train no. 0653 Chennai Central-Jodhpur (weekly) special will leave Central at 3.30 p.m. on Mondays and reach Jodhpur at 12.10 p.m. on Wednesdays. Train no. 0654 will leave Jodhpur at 9 p.m. on Wednesdays and arrive here at 5.15 p.m. on Fridays.

The services will be available from April 24 to June 26 from Central and from April 26 to June 28 from Ajmer.
