For smooth flow of traffic

Staff Reporter

BANGALORE: The city traffic police on Saturday started the work of replacing the present signal lights and synchonising them. The city police will install 21 solar LED-based signals lights at seven traffic junctions where the traffic density is high. These signal lights will be synchronised so that vehicle-users get to see green signals continuously on a given road such as M.G. Road (five signal lights) and Cubbon Road (4). Such lights would be installed at K.R. Circle, Police Thimmaiah Circle, Basaveshwara Circle, Maharani College Junction, State Bank of Mysore Circle and South End Circle.
