Tuticorin : The total number of electors for seven Assembly segments in the district has gone up to 11,40,208 in the supplementary electoral rolls published by the district administration here, after scrutinising applications for inclusions and deletions received during the special summary revision held between January 27 and February 12. It showed an increase of 53,795 vis-à-vis the total electors featured in the draft rolls published earlier this year, according to sources on Sunday. Segment-wise, 2,993 inclusions were done in the Vilathikulam Assembly segment, 2,908 in the Ottapidaram constituency, 11,279 in Kovilpatti, 4,266 in Satankulam, 6,398 in Tiruchendur, 3,187 in Srivaikundam and 24,199 in Tuticorin. The rest of applications received in Form 6 were rejected, owing to non-residence and under age.
