Flareon wins main event

Mumbai: Flareon ridden by P.S. Chouhan won the Wadia Group C.N. Wadia Gold Cup, the main event of today's races here.

The winner is owned by Mr. Ashok Ranpise rep. Ashoka Stud Farm Pvt Ltd & M/s. Haresh N. Mehta, Balam Mohla & Darius Rafaat. S. Padmanabhan trains the winner.

In this race Frida Kahlo broke down during the race and stopped galloping near 400m.

An objection was raised by jockey Shelar (up Call To Arms) against jockey Merchant, the rider of Quo Iboe, for bumping him twice near 400m and cutting him across near 200m which cost him the race. The Stewards after watching the replay decided to uphold the objection and revised the order as above).
