Chief Justice of India worships at Tirumala

IN GOD'S PRESENCE: Chief Justice of India Y.K. Sabharwal at the `Dhwaja Stambham' inside the Tirumala temple complex on Sunday.

TIRUMALA : Chief Justice of India Y.K. Sabharwal on Sunday offered prayers at the temple of Lord Venkateswara here.

On his arrival at the Padmavati guest house, he was accorded a warm reception among others by TTD Executive Officer A.P.V. Narayana Sarma, Chief Vigilance and Security Officer B. Balakrishna and other TTD officials while District Collector S.S. Rawat, district judge Apparao and others accompanied him from the Tirupathi airport.

After a brief halt at the guest house, Justice Sabharwal proceeded towards the main temple complex where he was traditionally received by temple authorities and was led into the sanctum sanctorum.

Later at the `ranga nayakula mandapam' situated inside the temple complex Mr. Sarma presented him `laddu prasadam' along with a few literary books related to the temple and photos of the presiding deity.
