Prohibitory orders promulgated near examination centres

MANGALORE: The District Magistrate and Deputy Commissioner H.V. Parshwanath has promulgated prohibitory orders under Section 144 of the Cr.PC in a 200 metre radius around all SSLC examination centres in Dakshina Kannada district.

The examinations commence on Thursday and end on March 23.

The ban orders will be effective on all examination days to prevent any untoward incidents.
