Realtor falls to death

BANGALORE: A 51-year-old real estate agent died after he slipped and fell from the third floor of his house under construction in Kumaraswamy Layout on Sunday.

The police identified the victim as A.L. Narayanaswamy. Mr. Narayanaswamy was rushed to hospital where he died.

Raid

The Cubbon Park police on Saturday night raided a discotheque on Church Street for continuing with the entertainment shows and supplying alcohol beyond the permissible time. The police booked a case against the owner of the discotheque.

Burgled

Articles valued at Rs. 5.5 lakhs and Rs. 5,000 in cash were taken away from a software engineer's house in New BEL Layout in the Sanjay Nagar police station limits on Saturday.

According to the police, Vinod Kaushik and his wife locked their house and went for shopping in the evening. When they returned in the night they found the articles and the cash missing.
