Disruption in power supply

BANGALORE: Owing to increase in load on the distribution network and transmission system constraints, there is a likelihood of unscheduled power cuts in the city. Power supply will be disrupted in the following areas for periods varying from 30 minutes to 45 minutes from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Austin Town substation: Sampangiramnagar, J.C. Road, Mission Road, part of Lalbagh Road, part of Haine's Road, Domlur, Viveknagar, part of Richmond Road, Jogupalya, Austin Town, Ashoknagar, Residency Road, Victoria Road, Shantinagar area, Neelasandra and Brigade Road.

Audugodi substation: Audugodi, Central Silk Board area, Bannerghatta Road, Wilson Garden, Vinayakanagar, Hosur Road, part of Mavalli, Sudhamanagar, Kidwai Hospital and surrounding areas, Lakkasandra and K.H. Road.

NIMHANS substation: Madivala, BTM Layout, Rupenagrahara, Byrasandra, Jayanagar 1st and 2nd blocks and Bannerghatta Road.

BMTC substation: Shantinagar, Subbaiah Circle, S.R. Nagar and KSRTC Compound area.

Jayadeva substation: BTM 1st and 2nd stages, Vysya Bank Colony, Bismillah Nagar, Thavarekere, Suddaguntepalya, Hulimavu, Billekalli, MICO Layout, Jayanagar 4th and 5th blocks and Bannerghatta Road.

Koramangala substation: Koramangala 1st to 8th blocks, National Games Village area, and Adugodi police quarters.

Banaswadi substation: Banaswadi Layout, HRBR Layout, Hennur Road, OMBR Layout, Thanisandra Layout, part of HBR Layout, Babusapalya and Govindapura, a release said.
