NALGONDA: In a bizarre incident, a youngster allegedly killed a 27-year-old physically challenged person after attempting to molest him at Ghanapuram stage in Pedda Adisarlapally mandal in Nalgonda district last night. According to the police, Bandala Yedukondalu, 22, a married man with two kids, attacked Maddula Sreenu, a hearing impared person.Under the influence of liquor, Yedukondalu allegedly mistook him for a woman and tried to rape him, Devarakonda DSP Srinivas, said. "Since Sreenu was hearing impared, he could not raise an alarm. In the melee, Yedukondalu throttled him to death," he added. The DSP said that Yedukondalu later told Sreenu's mother that somebody had killed her son. "When the villagers questioned Yedukondalu, he confessed to the crime," the DSP said.
