Of an artist and god

Staff Reporter

Bangalore: Kushal Choudhry of Jaipur (now settled in New Delhi), who did his civil engineering from Bangalore University, is exhibiting his works of art from March 16 to 23 at the Chitrakala Parishath.

His paintings are unique, and the lines and colours bring out great characters and set you thinking.

The sketches of Shiva and Ganesha are evocative, and the show is aptly titled "... So the man created god."

Choudhry says his mother was the only god for him in his childhood. As a child he wondered how one could do so many works at the same time. "So my mother showed me different gods with many hands!" But now, he confesses, he understands that god is the invisible power of creation with no particular shape. Hence, he has let his imagination run riot and has been able to give his own shapes to gods.
