Aqua para-sailing camp at Kappil

Thiruvananthapuram: The District Tourism Promotion Council (DTPC) in association with the Southern Air Command Sports Control Board is organising a five-day aqua para-sailing and skiing camp at the Priyadarsini Boat Club at Kappil, near Varkala, from March 29.

The first two days of the camp had been set apart for the tourism clubs functioning in the district and registered with the DTPC.

Fifty students from the tourism clubs will be given training free, said DTPC secretary N. Subramaniam.

Students in the Higher Secondary and College and who are members of the tourism club should apply to the DTPC office functioning at Vellayambalam before March 20.

The application should contain the name, full postal address, class, name of the institution, age and telephone number along with photocopies of the identity card of the tourism club.
