Thiruvananthapuram: Will the parties and fronts adhere to the one-man, one-post norm while preparing the list of candidates for the coming Assembly election? Asked about the chances of the UDF going by this rule at a press conference recently, DCC president K. Mohan Kumar and Thiruvananthapuram Development Authority chairman P.K. Venugopal were quick with their replies. Such norms are not meant for the UDF alone; the LDF also should abide by them, they responded. While asserting that priority will be given to youth and new faces, they did not forget to add that the winning chances of a candidate will also be given due weightage.
