Kerala
Habits die hard. Kerala has made a mark in taking out rallies. The show of strength invariably results in disrupting public life. By the people for the people. That is what all the parties involved in these agitations claim. Of course, some of them have good intentions, though they turn sour at the execution level. The city witnessed two prominent political meetings and huge rallies recently. Though both the rallies were taken out through one side of the road, allowing traffic on the other stretch, there was little relief from chaos on the road. The rallies organised at the end of the day mostly affected women and children. All parties seem to be sensible to the issue all the time except during the rallies.
