KOCHI: Kerala will field two teams in the 37th summer National bridge championship which begins at Vythri Resorts in Wynad on March 17. "Being the host, we can field two teams," said the Kerala Bridge Association secretary Robins Jacob. Kerala's best result in the summer National came five years ago in Jaipur when it entered the semifinals. This year, the Kerala `A' is basically Kottayam's Triplex team which topped the State circuit while the host's B team is a mix of players from different clubs. The teams (team of four duplicate): Kerala-A: Shaju V. Mathew, Sajan K. Thomas, J. Joseph, Easo Mohan George, P.S.C. Nair, M.M. Paul. Kerala-B: S. Sreekumar, K. Vijayan, Simon John, Paul Abraham, P.A. Zafar, Afsar Majeed. Pairs event: S.R. Shastri, N.C.J. John, Robins Jacob, K. Vijayan, Simon John, Mathew Chandy. Principal Correspondent
