Mumbai: The police may subject Abhishek Kasliwal, accused in a rape case, as well as the victim to undergo a polygraph test to ascertain the facts. Senior police officials said that Abhishek and the victim may be asked to undergo a polygraph test to reach the truth in the incident and collect more clues to proceed in the investigations. Although the results of a polygraph test have no evidential value, they provide definite pointers about any incident and the information being withheld by the accused or the complainant, police sources said. Twenty-six-year-old Abhishek, whose family owns Shriram Mills, was arrested by Worli police on a complaint by a 52-year-old woman charging him of raping her on Saturday night and was remanded to police custody till March 17.
