DEHRA DUN: The Fast Track Court in Roorkee has sentenced three persons -- Amit, Dharmendra and Jitendra -- to death for having murdered Shiv Kumar Upadhyay, a retired policeman, and Mithilesh at their Shakti Vihar Colony residence on August 9, 2003. The fourth accused, Sandeep, is facing trial in another court as he is a minor. Amit and Sandeep were caught on the spot by neighbours after the murder while the other two were nabbed at Palwal in Haryana. The fingerprints taken from the murder spot matched those of Sandeep and Amit, it was stated.
