KOLLAM: The three-day district conference of the Yuva Kala Sahithi will commence with a cultural conference on Friday. The conference will be inaugurated by Sukumar Azhikode, critic. CPI leader Mullakara Ratnakaran will deliver the keynote address. On the occasion, Prof. Azhikode will present this year's P.R. Karmachandran Memorial Award to T.V. Balan. Poet Kureepuzha Sreekumar will inaugurate the Kavya Sandhya programme in connection with the conference. The delegates' session of the conference will be inaugurated on Saturday by the patron of Yuva Kala Sahithi, N.C. Mamootty.
