Thiruvananthapuram: One person was feared killed and four others injured when a car carrying Sabarimala pilgrims collided with a freight lorry near Nilamel on the MC Road late on Tuesaday. The Chadayamangalam police said the car was totally wrecked. They said one of the occupants of the car was feared killed. The injured were rushed to the Medical College Hospital here.
Spirit seized
The rural police seized a consignment of spirit from a lorry at Pidaram, near Thachottukavu in the Malayinkeezh police station limits, on Tuesday night. Police said the lorry was on its way from Tamil Nadu when it was seized.
