Police helpline numbers

Thiruvananthapuram: The Police Helpline set up to provide swift response to public complaints will have new telephone numbers from Tuesday. The new numbers are 3243000, 3244000 and 3245000. The old numbers 3943000, 3944000 and 3945000 will remain active for one more month, a pressnote issued by the Police Headquarters said. — Staff reporter

Thiruvananthapuram: The State Science and Technology Museum and planetarium will function all days from March 30, according to an official pressnote issued here on Tuesday. — Staff reporter

Performance by French artistes

Thiruvananthapuram: The Satsangam International Centre for Art and Culture is organising a performance by a group of 11 French artistes here on March 16. The show will be followed by a Kathakali performance. The event will be staged at the Satsangam Centre, Shantivila, Nemom. — Staff reporter

Women's meet

Thiruvananthapuram: General education secretary Lida Jacob on Tuesday stressed the need for women to become more self-confident and aware of their talents and potential. She was inaugurating a women's meet in connection with the 41st State conference of the Kerala Secretariat Association. Ms.Jacob said the number of women entering politics was very less even in a literate state like Kerala. Mahila Congress president Shanimol Usman and DCC general secretary Remani P.
