"Look out" notices for witnesses in Jessica murder case

NEW DELHI: The Delhi police on Tuesday issued "look out" notices for witnesses in the Jessica Lal murder case to prevent any of them from leaving the country.

The notices have been issued to ensure that the witnesses are available for examination by the special investigating team probing the fresh case that has been registered after the acquittal of all nine accused by the trial court last month.

Some of the main witnesses, including socialite Beena Ramani and her husband George Mailhot, have foreign passports.

So far the special investigation team has been going through the documentary material available in connection with the case.
