Entrepreneurship knows no bounds. Keralites known for this skill have fared well in many areas across India and abroad. The general notion is that Keralite entrepreneurs are more successful outside Kerala than inside. But this idea does not discourage those who intend to take up new ventures. A few entrepreneurs have launched a new venture to distribute fresh vegetables. Much of the vegetables distributed in Kerala are brought from Tamil Nadu. This is partially due to the inadequate arrangement to procure vegetables within the State. The new venture called `Vegco in Kerala' is taking up the task of procuring vegetables within the State for distribution. By avoiding middlemen, the venture hopes to cultivate a new brand across Kerala and reap profits.
