Organic products fair to be held in April

Four-day fair to feature products by various groups in the State

KOCHI: The Mannira Society, promoted by the Thrikkakara Grama Panchayat Cooperative Hospital, Kakkanad, will organise an organic products fair in Ernakulam in April.

The `Organic Kerala - 2006,' will be held from April 19 to April 22 at the Ernakulam Town Hall. The four-day event will showcase various organic products made by different groups in the State.

The fair is being organised jointly by the Vegetable and Fruit Promotion Council Kerala, Uravu, Wayanad, SNA Oushadhasala, Thaikkattusseri, Sreelaksmi Handicrafts, Sumeni Biomanure and Bioenergy Systems, Socio Economic Unit, Alappuzha and Keystone, Kotagiri.

Former Kerala High Court Judge K.K. Narendran would inaugurate the organising committee of the fair at the Government Youth Hostel, Kakkanad, on March 18 Those who are interested in associating with the event should contact the organisers at `Organic Kerala - 2006,' Al Manar Complex, Opposite Avenue Regent, M.G.
