Shock and dismay at Malampuzha

PALAKKAD: There is shock and dismay in the district at the decision of the CPI(M) State secretariat not to field Leader of the Opposition V.S. Achuthanandan in the coming Assembly election. Mr. Achuthanandan represents Malampuzha which falls in the district in the present Assembly.

As soon as the news came, people reacted sharply to the decision and protested against it. They say that the decision is a big loss to the constituency and the district. They point out that Mr. Achuthanandan has taken up every issue concerning the people here and his performance as Leader of Opposition will go down in the history of Kerala.
