NIZAMABAD: Police resorted to lathicharge to disperse the crowd which reportedly obstructed an official meeting convened by the Housing Board authorities, to impart awareness among the beneficiaries of a housing scheme at Urdu Hall in Bodhan town on Thursday. The police arrested and remanded Shanta Bhai, Penta Lakshmi and Sayyad Zainuddin - who blocked the RDO and the MRO from proceeding to the venue by squatting on the road for about 45 minutes. As a result, traffic was also badly affected.
