15 students not allowed to take examination

Madikeri: As many as 15 students appearing for SSLC examinations in the Government Junior College centre here were not allowed to take the examination on Thursday, according to sources.

The failure of the students to put in the required minimum of 70 per cent attendance was cited as the reason for not issuing them hall tickets, sources said. They had only 30 per cent to 40 per cent attendance.

They could, however, appear for the supplementary examinations in June.
