Lifer for three in murder case

NIZAMABAD: Fourth Additional Sessions Judge Ch. Ramesh Babu on Thursday sentenced three persons - Pingi Sailoo, Pingi Bojanna and Guttameedi Posetty - to life imprisonment after convicting them in a murder case registered in Nandipet police station in October 2004.

The Judge also imposed a penalty of Rs.500 on each person. If they fail to pay penalty, they would have to serve three months simple imprisonment{gt}

In a press release, Mr. Rao said Sailoo and Bojanna of Ilapur village in Nandipet mandal and Posetty of Navipet mandal waylaid Ainarla Yerranna, 50, on a tank bund on October 23, 2004, and beat him to death on the suspicion that he was practising sorcery.
