Kovalam palace visit postponed

Thiruvananthapuram: The scheduled visit of Finance Minister Vakkom Purushothaman, Tourism Minister K.C. Venugopal and Leader of the Opposition V.S. Achuthanandan to the Halcyon Castle at Kovalam has been postponed from March 17 to the March 19, according to an official press release issued here on Thursday. — Staff Reporter

BSNL mobile bill date

Thiruvananthapuram: The last date for payment of bills of Plan 100 mobile customers is March 25 to avoid disconnection. For customers of all other plans, the last date of payment is March 22.

Drawing contest

Thiruvananthapuram: The Association of Public Health Engineers, Kerala, will organise a drawing competition for schoolchildren in connection with the World Water Day on March 22.
