KOCHI: The Democratic Indira Congress-Karunakaran (DIC-K) is planning to turn its State delegates' meeting here on Monday into a show of strength. The event, to be held at Marine Drive where the former Chief Minister K. Karunakaran called a meeting a couple of years ago as a prelude to his departure from the Congress, will formulate the party's electoral agenda. But the major objective is to convince the United Democratic Front of the party's strength. K.B. Mohammedkutty, district leader of the party, said nearly 50,000 party workers would attend the meeting. Preparations are in full swing for the meeting, which will be opened by Mr. Karunakaran. The party president K. Muraleedharan will be in the chair.
