Asianet launches PC-NET subscription scheme

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Asianet Dataline, the broadband Internet division of Asianet Satellite Communication Limited, has launched the Net and PC For All scheme designed to provide a computer and Internet connection as a package for a monthly payment. Under this scheme, subscribers pay Rs. 599 a month in return for a Pentium IV computer and a broadband Net connection, along with a cable modem. There is no down payment for this package offered in association with the ICICI Bank and HCL Infosystems. Wherever the broadband connectivity is not feasible, Asianet Dataline will provide the `Keralaonline' dial-up facility along with the computer.
