Isolated rainfall in Tamil Nadu

CHENNAI: Rainfall occurred at a few places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh. Isolated rainfall occurred over Tamil Nadu, Rayalaseema and Telangana, mainly dry weather prevailed over south interior Karnataka and dry weather prevailed over Kerala, Lakshadweep, Coastal and north interior Karnataka.

Rajapalayam and Watrap (both Virudhunagar dt.) recorded heavy rainfall of 10 and 8cm respectively.

FORECAST (valid until Sunday morning): Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places over south Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over north Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh, Lakshadweep and interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather will prevail over coastal Karnataka.

Farmers weather Bulletin for Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry (valid until Sunday morning): Light to moderate rain is likely to occur at a few places over Ramanathapuram, Tirunelveli, Tuticorin, Kanyakumari, Madurai, Theni, Sivagangai, Virudhunagar and Dindigul districts of South Tamil Nadu and isolated light to moderate rain is likely to occur over rest Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry.
