VIJAYAWADA: Municipal Commissioner Natarajan Gulzar on Friday said he would abide by the High Court's directive on the road-widening work in the city. Mr. Gulzar, who appeared in the High Court along with Vice-Chairman of Vijayawada-Guntur-Tenali-Mangalagiri Urban Development Authority (VGTMUDA) V. Durga Das in a case pertaining to contempt of court, declined to reveal what the court had said. He merely said that the case had been posted for further hearing on March 24. But Mr. Gulzar maintained that the widening of Mahatma Gandhi Road (Bandar Road) would be completed by following due process of law.
