Chopra in 30th spot

Miami: Daniel Chopra put up an improved three-under 69 to move up to join Tiger Woods in the 30th spot after the third round of the $5 million Bay Hill invitational here on Saturday.

With a three-day total of four-under 212, the former Asian Tour regular moved up nine places on the leaderboard. Tiger Woods went down five places after a disappointing one-under 71.

Chopra's only disappointment of the day was a bogey on the fifth hole after having gained a shot on the preceding hole. He ended his front nine with a birdie and had a bogey-free backward journey during which he fired back-to-back birdies on the 15th and 16th holes.

At the top, Australian Rod Pampling (202) overtook American Lucas Glover with a round of 67. Glover (207) put on a level-par performance to slip to tied second. — UNI
