Ghei finishes tied fifth

Beijing : Notwithstanding the bogey on the 15th hole, Gaurav Ghei's otherwise flawless final round of six-under 66 was enough to earn him the tied fifth place while compatriot Jeev Milkha Singh finished tied seventh — their best finish in recent past — in the $1 million TCL Classic on Sunday.

Amandeep Johl (274) finished tied 21st after his level-par final round Shiv Kapur (71) and Rahil Gangjee (73) shared the 41st spot at 11-under 277 in the co-sanctioned European and Asian Tour event at Yalong Bay Golf Club.

Swede Johan Edfors (263) carded a four-under 68 to record his maiden win on the European Tour. — UNI
