MPLADS scam

The editorial "Better abandoned than revised" (March 16) on the MPLADS scam was apt. The suggestion to scrap the scheme is laudable but it is doubtful if it will be acceptable to our MPs. Under the prevailing conditions, it would be better to rename it MPPDF (MPs' Personal Development Fund).
