Uma Bharti rules out return to BJP

BHOPAL: Accusing some BJP leaders of making fun of her when she was expelled from the party, firebrand leader Uma Bharti today threatened to teach them a lesson saying their ``offence'' can never be forgiven.

``Some BJP leaders in Delhi and Madhya Pradesh made fun of me when I was expelled from the party. I will teach them a lesson whenever I get an opportunity for their unforgivable offence,'' the fiery sanyasin told reporters during her brief visit to the city.

"I will not forgive"

``If I forgive them, I will cease to be a human being. It will also give strength to those pursuing dirty games and acting against honest politicians,'' she said.

Stating that she would announce her new political strategy at the grand rally planned to be held on March 21 in Delhi, Bharti said the proposed political party would hold its first convention at Chitrakoot on March 30 and start participating in electoral politics only after April 30. To a query, she said she had written only to senior leader Madan Lal Khurana inviting him to join her party and no other BJP leader has been contacted for this purpose.

Concocted stories

Firmly ruling out her return to BJP, the firebrand leader said concocted stories are being floated in this regard though some people associated with BJP, which is now in a ``bad shape'', had contacted her for her possible re-entry.

Emphasising that it was a mistake on her part to have trusted people when she stepped down from the post of chief minister in the wake of Hubli court warrant, she said Ayodhya and Jansandesh Yatras have raised her confidence.
