FEROZEPUR: Accusing Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh of unleashing ``political vendetta'', opposition Shiromani Akali Dal chief Parkash Singh Badal on Sunday said his party would hold a probe into the alleged atrocities by his government if voted to power. ``Everyone is fed up from the erroneous policies of the Congress government which is pushing the state towards dark days of fright and violence,'' Badal told reporters here An inquiry commission headed by a retired High Court judge would be constituted to look into the ``atrocities'' committed by the ruling Congress government in the state ``against various sections of people, particularly in targeting political opponents'', he said. Badal said the Akalis would give a befitting reply to the "political vendetta'' unleashed by the Chief Minister. On the possibility of any electoral alliance with BSP or any other party for the forthcoming Assembly polls, Badal said his party was open to any kind of alliance with like minded and anti-Congress parties but ``it was premature to decide on that.''
