Negi among the leaders

NEW DELHI: Parimarjan Negi was among the 34 leaders with perfect scores after two rounds of the International Open chess tournament of Bad Worishofen in Germany on Saturday.

The 13-year-old, holder of two Grandmaster norms, defeated Helmut Specht with white pieces in the first round and followed it up by beating Manfred Kroenchke in the second. He will next play Felix Graf.
