CHITTOOR: Pandemonium and jostling prevailed at the Zilla Parishad standing committee No.1 meeting held on Sunday, over the cancellation of sanctioned works. Chairperson M. Reddemma presided and ZP chief executive officer Veerabhadraiah participated. At the beginning of the meeting ZPTC member Narayanavanam Adimulam alleged that the works sanctioned to his area under RRM has been cancelled at the instance of the MLA. He further said that the MLA has won the elections by rigging. Another ZPTC member Balaji complained against sanctioning works more than the available funds. ZPTC member Chandrasekhar Reddy, along with other members, strongly objected to their remarks, which trigged a row between one party and another party members. MLA R. Chenga Reddy also raised an objection to Mr. Narayanavanam's remarks and wanted the chairman to conduct the meeting in a dignified manner without giving scope for the members to use objectionable language. He asked the authority to sanction equal works to all mandals.
