CHENNAI: Airtel, in collaboration with Vijay TV, has launched the `Airtel Super Singer' contest to showcase the talent of budding singers. Airtel subscribers can call 646610 and record their voices before March 30. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted over their mobile phones.

Auditions will be held in Chennai, Coimbatore and Madurai from the first week of April. Singers selected in this round will compete with each other on Vijay TV. The final round will be held in July. During the the show subscribers can vote through SMS for their favourite singers. The winner will get to sing for film music director Harris Jayaraj. For details, contact 28523783.
