TNAU crop campaign to be telecast live on DD

Coimbatore: A crop campaign programme featuring an interactive session with farmers will be organised at the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) and telecast live on Doordarshan 1 and Pothigai channels on March 28.

Farmers to benefit

A release said that the University had joined hands with Doordarshan Kendra in Chennai to conduct the programme on the campus from 5 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. on that day and organise a live telecast for the benefit of farmers. Selected farmers would discuss various matters with a panel of University scientists headed by the Vice-Chancellor, C. Ramasamy, along with officials from Doordarshan Kendra and All India Radio.
