Isolated rain likely in south T.N.

CHENNAI: Isolated rainfall occurred over Kerala mainly dry weather prevailed over coastal and north interior Karnataka and dry weather prevailed over Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, south interior Karnataka and Lakshadweep. Punalur reported 1 centimetre of rainfall.

On Monday, the maximum temperature rose at one or two places over Telangana, coastal Andhra Pradesh and changed little elsewhere over the region.

They were appreciably above normal at one or two places over coastal Karnataka, coastal Tamil Nadu, south coastal Andhra Pradesh, above normal at one or two places over rest Tamil Nadu, Telangana, north coastal Andhra Pradesh, appreciably below normal at one or two places over Rayalaseema, below normal at one or two places over south interior Karnataka, Telangana and were generally normal over the rest of the region.

Weather (valid until Thursday morning): Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over south Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over north Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.

Outlook for subsequent two days: No significant change.
