New variants of Dettol on anvil
NEW DELHI:
With its eyes all set to enhance its share from 18 per cent to 25 per cent in the Rs. 1,500 crore health soap market, Reckitt Benckiser said it is contemplating to introduce new variants of its flagship brand Dettol this year, as it launched a new ad campaign "Suraksit Parivar" to create awareness on the practise of hygiene. A budget of about Rs. 5 crore has been made for the programme, Reckitt Benckiser Senior Vice-President (India) and Regional Director (South Asia), Chander M. Sethi, said, adding that the Dettol brand was contributing one third of the company's turnover.
