Phone-in programme

All India Radio, Bangalore, will broadcast a live phone-in programme Hello Akashavani M.S. Ramaiah Arogya Darshana in which Dr. B.K. Sujani will answer queries by listeners regarding mother and child healthcare on March 22 between 8 p.m. and 8.30 p.m. Interested persons can call 22370477/ 0488/ 0499 to ask queries during the programme.

Summer camp

Mata Amritanandamayi Math is organising Amrita Summer Camp 2006 for children in the age group of 9 to 15 years between April 2 and April 9. The residential camp aims at helping children to develop innovative insights on Indian . The last date for registration is March 28. For details, call 28486565, 28486439.

Legal aid

Trekking

The Youth Hostels Association of India is organising a two-day trekking programme to Veerappan Trail at BRT Wildlife Sanctuary from Bedagul. It has also arranged a trekking programme to Muthodi Reserve Forest in Chikmagalur district from Kaimara to Muthodi between March 31 and April 2. The last date for registration is March 23 March. The Government Tool Room and Training Centre offers a job-oriented short-term course in "CNC machine programming and operation" from April 7 and another programme in "Auto CAD" for graduate and diploma engineers/ students and ITI Mechanics.
