Asianet organises talent hunt for singers

Thiruvananthapuram: The singing contest being organised by Asianet in association with private cellular operator Idea offers a platform for the customers to showcase their singing talent. Titled `Idea Star Singer Contest,' the contest was inaugurated by music director M.G. Radhakrishnan in the capital city on Tuesday.

A minimum of 100 contestants will be auditioned at each location, said the organisers of the show.

The winners will get an opportunity to work with musician M. Jayachandran.

The audition will be held at Kottayam on March 24, Ernakulam on March 26, Thrissur on March 27, Kozhikode on March 30 and Kannur on March 31.
